INNOVATION IN ACTION
The Builder's Story
What is the difference between a community and a subdivision? Everything, in the opinion of Ron Coffman, head of Coffman Quality Homes and Coffman Development Company. With a vision of creating preferred destinations for new home buyers, Ron Coffman applies all the principles of sophisticated land planning and innovative 21st century home building techniques to create places people want to live and raise families.
With over 25 years' experience, Coffman Development and its subsidiary, Coffman Quality Homes, has substantial credentials for success. While Settlers Walk, the highly popular 695-acre master planned community in Springboro, Ohio is the largest of Coffman Development's communities to date, other prestigious success stories include Brenner Woods, Timbertrail, Yorkshire, Cinnamon Woods, Wexford, Crestfield, The Pointe at Beckett, Welbourne Manor, The Village at Welbourne, and Lyndhurst, all in Butler and Warren counties. Coffman Quality Homes also builds quad ranch-style condominiums in Villas at The Pointe at Settlers Walk.
In Welbourne Manor, Coffman Development took architectural standards to a new level in the Cincinnati market. The design of the community and the homes within it were soon copied by some of Cincinnati's leading home builders. Years later, Welbourne Manor is still regarded as one of Cincinnati's most desirable addresses.
Continuing this trend toward innovative construction and design, Coffman Quality Homes built Southern Ohio's first "Health House" in Cincinnati in 2001. The home follows guidelines established by The American Lung Association to assure healthy air quality, safety and comfort, energy efficiency, durability and affordability. Today, Coffman Quality Homes continues to incorporate many of these construction techniques into every home they build.
